I don’t think so. I just got news from the Panfu headquarters that will put a spring in your step: The Bigfoot quest is back in the Quest Book!! All loyal Pandas know the story surrounding the poor castaway Yeti, I’m sure. For those of you who don’t, I’ll just tell you to brace yourselves and be prepared for lots of excitement and adventure. The poor fella is at the Beach, totally exhausted and starving. He needs our help!

Important tip for you: You have to start the quest from the Quest Book. It’s called ‘Bigfoot’.

Good Morning Pandas,

Have you put on your ice skates and practiced your twirls on the ice yet?

It’s just so much fun! Say Max, why is your mouth hanging open like that in the pic? You look as though you’ve seen a ghost!

Pfft, I’m not afraid of ghosts. After we’ve defeated quite a few creepy creatures here on Panfu, ghosts are more like pet dogs to me.

So why the weird face?

Because…you showed me up. You know, Ella kept complaining that she’d never been ice skating before. So yesterday we went to the Castle Terrace to check out the new ice rink (which is totally awesome, by the way! ). I went onto the ice and started twirling a bit – I managed 9 pirouettes, one after another

But then I stepped onto the ice!

Ella, who supposedly had ‘no talent whatsoever’, started skating like she was born with ice skates instead of paws. To top it off, she even broke my pirouette record!! Ella, the ‘beginner’, managed 15 1/2 pirouettes

Oops, I might have forgotten to mention that I used to take ballet lessons

Of course! How about you? Are you stable on your skates or maybe even have a few tips for me?

Yaay, the Castle is free of ice!!

Well done. We’ve all done really well

We went to the Castle again last night and gave Kamaria a thermos full of warm tea. The poor thing was freezing! Imagine you didn’t have any heating! I would just cuddle up with a blanket all day…brrr…I get goosebumps even thinking about it.

Kamaria was surprisingly cool with the tiny ice age and everything.

I bet you’ll think the same when I tell you about the suggestion Kamaria came up with: Because she kept slipping on the icy ground, she put on ice skates and moved across the Castle like that. She liked it so much that she had the idea to set up an ice rink on the Castle Terrace.

We did it! We got rid of all five of Evron’s minions Luckily Kamaria hat the genius love heart idea. Without it, I bet they wouldn’t have taken off so fast

Now we have a new mission, though: melt away the ice layer on the Castle. Thinking about it, I just remembered a funny thing that happened yesterday: Max came to my Tree House, shouting ‘Help!! Fire!!!’ I was in the kitchen at the time and panicked. I rushed to the sink, grabbed the first thing I came across – a big pot with some leftover spaghetti sauce in it – filled it with water and turned around, ready to tend to the fire I saw that Max’ hair was on fire and poured the water onto his head. SPLATT! The fire had been put out

Bravo, firewoman Ella Ella really doesn’t know how to take a joke. I just called ‘fire’, because I’d just gotten the fire hair from the beach and wanted to show it to Ella. But Ella had to take it seriously and play fire brigade.

Max was totally soaked and looked rather sorry for himself Well, that’s what you get if you joke about fire.

Yes, I get that now. Luckily you can get the fire hair every ten minutes, so I could still help melt the ice layer on the Castle.

Do you know the number you need to call if you need the fire brigade to come to you? You should really remember that! Drop the number into the comment section if you know it – soon everybody on Panfu will know which number to call in case of a fire.

Hiya Pandas,

You wouldn’t believe what I saw when I bought a breakfast pancake from Troy this morning – one of Evron’s evil minions had climbed on top of the Ice Cream Parlour and started turning Pandas into ice!

And not just there! I have seen even more of those guys from Bitterland in the Jungle and at the Harbour. I hid in the bushes, so they couldn’t get me and turn me into ice

Oh no, that doesn’t sound good Evron’s soldiers are starting to attack us!! Please watch out, Pandas. They are unpredictable.

Come on Ella, let’s go and see Kamaria at the Castle Tower and ask her how we can defend ourselves against the soldiers. Luckily she’s back to her old self by now, I bet she’ll help us out.

Good Morning Pandas,

Our Kamaria sleeps…and sleeps…and sleeps. She’s been asleep for 4 whole days! I wonder if after the ice attack and the thawing with that hair dryer, she’s gone into hibernation?

Pfft, nah! Only animals go into hibernation!

Kamaria IS an animal, thank you very much: a Panda.

True, but Pandas do not hibernate. Only animals who live in places where it’s really, really cold in winter and where food is scarce at those times, go into hibernation. Like hedgehogs or groundhogs. It’s cold on Panfu, but there’s always food around.

Ok, we do have Bruno with his restaurant and Troy’s pancakes. Hehe, this gives me an idea – we’ll put some fresh pancakes right under Kamaria’s nose. I bet she’ll wake up quickly then

I think we’d best let Kamaria sleep, though. Maybe she’ll be in a really bad mood if we just go ahead and wake her. Do you Pandas know any other hibernating animals?

Dear Pandas,

We’re sooo sorry! We haven’t written in a week. Sorry!! It’s just that we couldn’t even go online last week, because we weren’t actually on Panfu, but…

…on the coolest and warmest island in the Pandific Ocean We enjoyed the sun for one whole week, had some fruit smoothies and Ella’s uncle Risotto cruised along the ocean with us in his motorboat. It was ace!

Max, there’s no need to brag!!
We just went because my uncle’s motorboat had broken down and had to be repaired on Panfu. When he saw how cold it is here, he just invited us on a little holiday. It was great, but now I feel bad about leaving you alone on Panfu. So much has happened in the meantime: First the Castle froze over and now Kamaria!!! The poor thing must be so cold. Only the mirror ghost and Kamaria’s Crystal Ball were spared. The mirror ghost even talked to us briefly. But then he fell back asleep

Sleepy head! I bet he knows how we can help Kamaria.

Ha, I have a great idea: I will just wake him in the morning by holding some lovely fresh scrambled eggs under his nose. He’ll just have to wake up when he smells that!

Hehe, you’re silly! He’s a mirror and can neither smell nor eat…

He can talk, so why not smell? And if he doesn’t wake up from that, we’ll try and shock him – just show him your sunburnt foot Don’t worry Pandas, we’ll wake the mirror ghost. Just check in at the Castle tomorrow…maybe he’ll have a helpful tip for you.
